How to make a refund on Stripe?

If the student decides to withdraw from the course and request a tuition refund, you can do it through the payment platform. Follow the instructions below for payments made by Stripe:

1) Access your Stripe account at: https://stripe.com/

Click on “Sign in”:

2) Fill in the fields with your email and password and continue:

3) In the side menu, click on “Payments”:

4) Click on the three points next to the payment:

5) Click on “Refund Payment”:

Done! If the student paid by credit card, it may take 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on the card statement.

Refunds for expired or canceled cards are administered by the customer’s card issuer.

If the student used additional payment methods (ACH, iDEAL, etc.), the refund may vary from bank to bank.

In case of currency conversion, the refund amount is converted back using the same process. There are no reimbursement fees, but fees already charged are not refunded.

Do not forget to de-enroll the student (until the 31st of the month) after making the reimbursement, so that there will be no commission charge for this enrollment on the 1st of the next month.
